BELVEDERE

The site is located somewhere in the mountains along a turistic path. The steep climb and the very thick vegetation make it necessary to have a check point with a belvedere function. The architectural object is a simple and natural response to this problem through its form, direction and material. Its position is perpendicular on the direction of the path thus ilustrating the concept of rythm break. Moreover the object sits on pillars in order to be able to open itself to the view. The material(wood) as well as the way it has been placed creates a specific type of texture and transparency as a feedback from the surrounding enviroment.
