R-Urban Commons Wiki

One of the most interesting projects I have worked on within the AAA team lead by Constantin Petcou and Doina Petrescu is the R-Urban Commons Wiki for which I offered my technical support.

It is a collaborative open platform employed within the R-Urban project for the construction of a Commons Charter.
” Charter R-Urban is an open charter drafted in a participatory manner to ensure a continuity to the project and strategy.

It shows all the rules and principles carried by R-Urban. All signatory will approve these principles and rules with a view to carry R-Urban projects in other areas. The signatories of the charter and the members will be able to collectively use the ressources and the infrastructure of the network. This charter has no legal status, but rather an incentive status for the dissemination of ideas of the R-Urban pilot-project. It is a tool for dissemination of the strategy towards the future project-carriers, the building of a network and a guarantee of a monitoring and experience feedback.”(r-urban.net)

This charter has also been exhibited within the International Pavilion at the Venice 2012 Biennale.
