The Cloud at Anadolu Hisari / Istanbul

My graduation project deals with the subject of public space as a device for the implementation of public collaboration policy. It is constructed by the articulation of two concepts: on one side is the dissertation (The invisible mobilization: from online activism towards public space), and on the other are geographic and socio-economic layers belonging to this neighborhood in the outskirts of Istanbul. The project represents a layout of two components: the potential of mass collaboration via Internet and mobility of the local population. In a broad sense, the project becomes a long-term process of which my project cannot show but the first sequences. Consequently, the following images show the first possible interventions, in the form of a building antenna (a production workshop and internet infrastructure) to which are added spaces and programs for testing and collective construction. It becomes a permanent building site for the collaborative construction of the city.
